    i baught some copepods from the lfs and i really havent seen any in my tank. i put them in the refugium, what happened? my tank has been running for 10 months so i dunno!

    check when the lights are off. I have a TON of them in my tank but you really cant see them until the lights go off and then shine a flashlight into the tank. Or shake some macro algae, they come flying out of it then like salt.

    What brand/species did you get? Do you feed any phytoplankton?

    look around the base of rocks, in small crevices, etc.

    Unless you're running a fish only tank treated with copper they're there. They're microscopic, and the biggest copepods are just barely visible to the naked eye, so look for things like very tiny fleas jumping around...I see mine on the glass near the sand even during the day.

    im not sure what species they were but i did feed them phytoplankton
