    What methoids can you use to see copepods
    I have copepods in my tank
    But how can I find our if there really there

    After the lights have been off for awhile in my tank (and moonlights on), I look really closely at the glass and I can see all these little white dots moving around. That's the only way I can see them!

    Flashlight after lights are out. Wait about an hour and then shine a flashlight with a red lens if you have one, should see them moving about the rock work.

    I have a huge amount of amphipods
    Does that mean I should a a gross amount of copepods?

    I took some pictures this weekend after seeing some strange additions to my refugium. Come to find out the little guys were copods. I was planning on seeding the tank but they just started on there own possibly from the macro algae.

    Probably, but not necessarily. It's easy enough to check on your copepod population though.

    That looks too big to be a copepod
