How do you know if you have them?

I have a 72 with approx 80lbs live rock with plenty of places for them to reproduce.

How do you see them and when is the best time to look

Look at night for tiny little creatures scurrying all over the rock and glass.

nightime is the best time for searching for copepods

they feel more secure and scurry about the rocks and glass when they think the fish are resting

If you have zoanthid type polyps look there. That's the only place i've seen them in my tank. At night too, like everyone else said. Good luck they are sneaky!
