I been thinking about getting a Copper Band Butterfly fish so I posted the above that tells you what I have and my water levels will it be a good buy.
I know that it may like to pick on Anenomes but the one that I have is a huge BTA dont think it would pick on it and my refugium has been breeding copepods and amphipods which should be a good thing.

If someone thinks I should not get this fish please give me an idea of a colorful fish I could get that would thrive in my tank.

Most Butterflyfish would pick on and kill your anemone. Also with that tang /damsels in such a small tank they would probably harass this fish and they do not do well in stressful situations. Considering you have some aggresive fish my suggestion would be a Neon Dottyback. Cool fish that can handle themselves.

Was looking for something a little bigger maybe to grow about 8 to 9 inches.

I think two 8 inch fish in that tank may be pushing it.

That is a grouper and will eat any fish it can fit in its mouth. It is nocturnal and requires hiding places to provide it shelter from bright lighting, being more active at dusk. It will also eat shrimp and crabs. Not a good reef dweller.

In my experience Copper bands won't really pick on anemones that are not Aipstasia.

I've had 2 copperbands in my tank to get rid of my pest anemones. I also have 3 green bubble tips and none where touched by them.
I traded them after they took care of the anemone problem. ( had them for about a year or so)

Copperbands do well in tanks as small as 55G, so I believe it shouldn't be a real problem. The tank has to be really well established, and they are definitely not for beginners.
