Over the last 3-4 days I am getting a copper colored algae on 4 rocks in my tank and it seems to be spreading slowly.

I attached some pictures of it! Can anyone help me id this and tell me what to add or do to get rid of this? Levels are:
    Ammonia - 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 20
    PH - 8.2
    Temp - 78.3
    Salinity - 1.024

    Thank You!

Called diatom algae. Part of the cycling process. This will disappear or at least minimize as the tank matures. Adding clean up crew will speed up the removal process.

this is a relatively new set up

    nothing needs to be done
they use silicates from the water/ new plastic to construct their skeletons
once used up, they all dissapear

could take 2 - 4 weeks, but then your tank will look as clean as the day it was set up

Phew!!!! I thought I had a big problem brewing here. I ordered a Phosban reactor thinking it was something like that!
I guess it wont hurt having that anyway!

    Thanks guys!
