I was working on a T5 retrofit and a 1/2" copper wire dropped in the tank. It was there about 3 days.
Not really planning on keeping fish in there but was wondering if it will hurt my corals when I transfer them over.
Do you think that was really enough time to put deadly copper in the tank if I only keep a fish in there for a few days?

My first thought is no, it shouldn't have had time to leech any measurable amount.

If worried then run this in a reactor. It is what I used for about 9 months after I started my tank because it was a used tank and I didn't know what chemicals they had put in it.
