Agressive, prone to disease, non-reef safe (many tend to pick at coral).... but eat aiptasia (with some success). At least they are eating well for you... many people have poor success with getting these fish to eat. Overall nice looking fish, but many people steer clear of them because of these negative drawbacks. But like people say, not all fish fall under the same species' stigmas, and I wish you the best success with them! :)

U got 2, are they a mated pair? If not, you might have some problems. They should play nicely with other, peaceful tank mates but will not tolerate other butterfly fish in the same tank.

Copperbands are not as hardy as some other beauties, such as the Four-eye, Threadfin and raccoon! They are notorious for contacting ICH as are Tangs!

i have one in my reef, and he's doing great. eats like a champ, and does'nt bother my corals, at all. in my opinion, they're beautiful fish. my clown tang thought he was a yellow, when first introduced. chased him all over, for about 2 days.! all"s well, now
just added a sailfin tang, yesturday. boy, that clown tang sure hates him!!. they're starting to calm down, though. takes a little time.
    good luck, with your copperband.
