Cant give you tips but can give you some information From Liveaquaria:
The Copperband Butterflyfish, also known as the Beaked Butterflyfish, Beaked Coralfish, or Orange Stripe Butterfly, has a long, narrow nose and mouth used for hunting into crevices and holes for food. The Copperband Butterflyfish has yellow-orange vertical bands with a black edging. It has a false eyespot on the rear of the dorsal fin. This is a difficult fish to mistake for any other.
It is best housed in very large reefs, or in peaceful community tanks. It should be kept singly, not with conspecifics or similar butterflyfish, and should not be kept with any stress-inducing fish. Caution should be exercised if housing these fish in a reef aquarium. They may pick on invertebrates, especially anemones and feather dusters. They are an excellent fish when used to control aiptasia, or glass anemones, in the reef aquarium.

The Copperband Butterflyfish is a difficult fish to feed; it is a shy and deliberate feeder that may need a variety of foods offered to it in order to start feeding.

I would be careful when buying one online. As they are very sensitive eaters, and may never start eating, starving themselves. I would buy locally and have them hold it for 2 weeks and make sure he is eating real well before you buy it. Mine loves brine shrimp.

I paid 60 for him hes about 4-5 in.

+1 Notoriously picky eaters. Unfortunately brine shrimp have no nutritional value so unless you get it to eat something else it will waste away.:(

Someone else lost theirs Tuesday to malnutrition, although it was feeding well on just brine. They need a variety of meaty foods.

I had a copperband for years, absolutely loved him. His favorite food was frozen mysis but would also eat other meaty foods. This guy was awesome and would come up and eat out of my hand. I did buy him locally though, paid 39 bucks for him and was my favorite fish in the whole tank. One other good thing is he ate absolutely all of my aptasia, one bad thing is he also munched my coco worm and my feather dusters, never bothered anything else in my tank. I have heard the horror stories about how they dont eat and eventually starve and since I bought mine locally I dont know how well they ship. Just saying that the only problem I had with mine eating was that he was an absolute pig.
