Hey everyone, I have a copperband butterly in my tank and I am having a difficult time feeding, I know that they are fussy eaters but still can not get him to bite ( forgive the bad humor )

Has anyone tried to coax a copperband into feeding ?
I have tried Macroalgea, both fresh grown and store bought
Reef flakes, Brine shrimp ( frozen and live ) and blood worms.
Galric soaked and not....... I am out of ideas.

He is active and picking at the rocks. he swimming freely and has good color. No signs of stress or sickness.

He is however a new addition to the tank but seems to be fitting in. no fighting marks on the fins or " bumps and bruises "

I have noticed that he is presenting cleaner shrimps but no flashing or rubbing against the rocks or sand.

Any suggestions on food ???? this guy is worse then my 4 yr old when it comes to food.

    Thanks

    Jonathan

Some people keep them, but usually only if they are eating to begin with. unfortunately, more often than not, they seem to starve to death. Some people have had success with live blood worms. The problem is these fish only know to pick food off the rocks, they just don't get that they can also eat out of the water column....

    Good luck!
