Because of my huge aptasia problem, I bought a copperband today and put it in my 90. However, as soon as he hit the water, my yellow tang started to attack him with the spikes on his tail. I knew going in that the tang might be a problem. People I had talked to were about split on whether or not it would work. Now, do I bring it back, or is there any chance the attacks might cease?

Never mind he's going back right now.

Try turning the lights off and moving the rock around and changing it some. They won't recognize the scenery and they will have to re-establish territory. This will give your copperband a surviving chance. If the attacks do not stop, I would take it back. They're compatible according to liveaquaria's chart.

I think that is the best course of action.
