A red Digitata, much more colorful in person, probably why I never post pictures of it. Starting to show some nice new growth are taking a beating by the hydnpora.

Goby honoring me with his best smile. As you can see the burrow is reinforced.

Duncan growing like a weed, would love to put this piece in the middle but again goby/pistol shrimp say otherwise.

Thank you yamaharider. Just wanted to post some pictures of things I take for granted. Goby is the oly fish that has been able to hold his ground against the clowns. They think twice before taking him on.

I love the goby! Did you build the little fort around him?

Thanks Incognito, he has a ton of personality. The bf loves him even though he would never admit it.

    Thanks Claic

No that is the pistols doing. Everyday 24/7 and usually it is much bigger. His tunnel system goes under all the rockwork. If I disturb it I can expect major sand storms for days as he repairs it. ;D

Yes the shrimp is blind ( or so they say ), he digs the burrow and the goby shares it in exchange for protection. If you even go near there the goby flips his tail just slightly and the shrimp goes down the burrow followed quickly by the goby. They are pretty funny to watch, better though in larger tanks than mine.

Is the relationship guaranteed? Also could they cause your rocks to fall and all your rock work to collapse?
