Well those are the more important things in life, except for the snow stuff.

I was just thinking about a couple of your threads, they were a good read, so it kind of surprised me that here you are.

I live in big snow country so luckily I love snow :)
Glad you thought the threads were a good read, I learned a lot from them and hopefully it'll help me be better at what I do.

Every time I see your corals I really am in awe. You really have done a great job, maybe one day I'll have corals that are as nice!

If what I have is a Stylo, I just put it high in my tank with lots of flow and it has started encrusting in no time. It was really brown when I first got it but is now a very bright pink as you can see in my pics!

    More nice looking corals Cheryl.

Place it mid to high in the tank with high flow.

Just thought I'd report a bit of the progress on my corals with you, Coralline.

The forest fire is loosing all the green and the ridges between the polyps are turning kind of bluish. Without light, its looking like it's loosing color, actually.

The same with my Red Planet, it's turning pink and lost all green. I had it at the bottom for close to 1 week, now I'm on my 2nd week of having it in the middle of the tank. And if I see that it keeps deteriorating (Receding) I'll try at the top. If that fails, back to the bottom.

My parameters are very stable with the doser. So I keep hating my light. I can't seem to be able to grow the hard ones. Stylophoras (all of them, even the ones I was sure they were goners) are coming back, slowly, but steady.

If you have any suggestions on the forest fire monti and red planet, let me know what I can try.

    Temp 79f
    ph 8.2
    cal 420
    mg 1350
    alk 10.5-10.9
phosphate, ammonia and nitrate are all undetectable.

Beats me... i'm down to crappy light fixture again (4x54w), since I know the bulbs are good ones.

PS: I won't have a camera until she gets back from Sidney, AU.
