    Thanks Steve, :)

It was the " Featuring Red Bugs" that caught your attention.

Quoting a section from your post (below) in the QT thread you linked, from this I took it you were one to QT everything, maybe you were just blowing smoke in that thread to join the others who believe QTing everything is the only way to go. Not taking a "poke" at you as you put it, got your message, no need to be so touchy, you guys were all over me in that thread, just thought I'd point it out that you're doing the same thing that I'm doing...

    "...
Anyone that has had to deal with monti eating nudibranchs or acro eating flatworms I am sure would tell you after loosing hundreds if not thousands of dollors in corals that they wished they had QT'd.

map, I think I read what you are saying. sometimes it si a do as I say not as I do situation. while I know and feel that QT'ing all of the things that come into my tank is a necesary process, and will recommend it to others, I havent been practicing what I preach. yes I know it leaves me open to be burned and do plan on getting it in place soon.

also, I dont think she is saying in that quote that she does practice it but rather speaking for someone who has had nasties in their tank.

I know it might not seem that way but I totally understand I've been taking that risk for yrs now and didn't mean to bring up the old thread, I just thought it was interesting. I know the reef bug issue will be resolved, nothing against Corailline, I would have done the same thing no matter who it was.. I just tell it like I see it, some are cool with that approach and some are not, can't please everyone and vice versa.

map9503 your motivation here was to have a I got you moment nothing more. It is pretty obvious to me who is blowing smoke, just calling them like I see them. Thanks for stopping by though.8)

I am NOT pleased. This would be considered a personal attack and as such, it is against the 3Reef user agreement. Your prior post has been deleted.

map95003 please do not hi-jack the thread anymore. Everyone can read the QT thread and decide what course they decide to take. The discussion should take place there not here. And yes I still do advocate QT when possible, unfortunately you have decided to make my issue with red bugs about something related to you rather than contribute to my thread in constructive manner. I sure hope others still feel comfortable enough to post the issues with their tank without fear of this happening to them.

The links for the QT thread have been provided and everyone can see exactly what transpired.

lol i love it. On topic: How are you planning to remove your acro crab. I had one HECK of a time getting mine out and that was an unattached colony. Pistol shrimp sounds like easy pickings in comparison.

hey Curt, I did not personally attack anyone. You can't have members scaring new potential hobbist with their approach in other threads because they are "friends" with others, then not practicing what they preach, getting burn and getting upset when others point it out. I think you removing my post shows favoritism and abuse of your modorator privileges. If this is the kind of attitude I can expect from a 3reef modorator, I take it by now you realized this is not the kind of forum for me.
