The pocillopora has been moved time and time again to avoid conflict. The fact that it keeps growing and the tank is small leads me to believe it is going to have to go.

I would not be the least bit surprised if the acropora makes a slow recovery. Unless RTN sets in it is still in the game.

It is always a learning experience for me, it never stops. From Red bugs to a new salt always something new.

I'll take a nice frag of that pocillopora if you'd like !! J/k. It's probably better off in your tanks anyway.

I've confirmed my mini colony is an ORA verde Acropora. I really hope it makes it. The whitish tip appearance is slowly making it's way from the tips inward it seems on a daily basis. I kinda wish I would've left it alone now and just treated the other frag, but I saw a few RB's on it so I included it in the dip.

I like this image because it shows the internal support structures of colt coral ( nephtheidae), the white structures you can see within the tissues.

These stomatella snails chased each other in circles for over an hour.

Had a huge swarm of Epitoke last night, but could not capture the images, but very cool to watch.

    Very nice!!

Stomatellas are my favorite snail. I only have one, hopefully more in the future ;). It does such a better job than my astreas on the rock and frag plugs because of it's lower profile

Goby and the stare down, he always wins. Makes him and the pistol happy to drag my corals down the burrow.

Montipora not sure of the exact kind now that it is growing more.

My other equally problem fish, pocillopora, stylophora and xenia.

FTS, the rockwork is starting to color up, a lot of epoxy but all in all it is starting to fill in. A couple more months and some growth and it will look better.

Monti looks like an undata to me. Looks close to Idaho Grape, but not quite as purple. What did you think it was?

I treated my system twice for red bugs over the last 10 days. All in all it went quite well. Corals are already beginning to improve. I pulled all the hermits I could find before treatment. I did not lose anything unexpected during treatment. My coral banded shrimp even made it through. I was quite surprised at that; he is full grown which I imagine didn't hurt. When's your D-day?

Great looking tank. I need to spend some time getting my red sea max looking alittle more like this one.

WOW! Your tank is BEAutiful Cheryl. I really like looking at your FTS's! Thanks for sharing. How is the Red Bug treatment going?
