These are those 2 little tiny pieces I accidently broke off back in Oct, one is Valida and the other Millepora I believe. Both encrusted and growing well.

Looking into growing and selling stomatella's. I notice that when I turn on my stronger koralia in the am they come to the top and spawn like crazy. I have hundreds of them now. Going to get some chaeto and see if I can increase the population by providing more areas of cover and surface area for the growth of film algae. Anyone that raises them on purpose please chime in.

Montipora Digitata, still a mystery to me regarding care. It is growing and looks ok. First one to show too much light, too high an alk, just more sensitive than I thought it would be.

The larger of the RP frags on day 1 post frag. All three doing great, just need a frag rack now. :-/

Sometimes I feel like I am breeding them.Never had a reef tank without having at least one appear. You may have something there Corrailine they seem to eat the same algae as turbo grazers but are not bulldozers. Do you have any pictures of what there eggs look like?

All I ever see is the spawning, like a puff of smoke. How they make it through the powerheads and go on to grow I have no clue. I think they do better in systems with a fare amount of film algae. Had them before but never in these numbers and I think that is because I leave the film algae growing in certain areas. I will try and get some spawing pics though. :)

Thank you for the kind words. Rewarding on most days and some days I feel like I do not have a clue. I guess it goes with the hobby.

I noticed the same thing. I had a small powerhead go out tonight, and replaced it with a larger one. Within a few minutes a large Stomatella was puffing like crazy. :smoking:
