    Corailline,

If you want babies, my experience with stomatella has been as follows. If you see the "smoke", kill your skimmer for a couple of days. Assuming you have more than one stomatella, you'll see (with careful observation) less visible smoke elsewhere in the tank. I've never once seen an egg on the glass or rock so I suspect they go through direct development.

Mine to the same thing. A couple minutes after the big powerhead comes on, they go to the highest rock and do their thing. As usual I find it very interesting the cues that make things respond in a certain manner.
    :)

Your right Inwall, they go very quicky through direct development. Reproduction also takes places by fission on the tail area.

    Thank you. :)

    Hey Vinny, ;D

Yeap Kenya tree. Sold as colt?? We know how that goes. Colt coral seems to be a catch all for most branching soft corals. All I know is that is grows like a weed, I have removed all frags of xenia and kenya tree a number of times and it keeps coming back, so I give up.

I like them but they can be invasive. I just removed one from my tank but I already see another one popping up in the back and I can't get to it. So I give up 2.:)
