I agree, I try to get everything small (frags and fish). Well, except for my frogspawn...

    Hey JP,

Thanks, fragging went well. Tomorrow will tell how well the pocillopora reacted to the cutting.

I am always in awe of those people that can buy those large colonies of acropora. Here in AZ that is near too impossible without paying a small fortune for a coral that is colony size. If I had went that way my tank would have been full in a couple of months.
In November when I was at a LFS, I mentioned to the guy that I really liked his green Millepora colony, he reached in and broke a tip of about 3/4 of an inch piece off and said ok here you go free frag. It has been almost 4 months now and has encrusted the rockwork and growing really well. Little tiny frags have so much potential if you hang in there just let them grow.

    Thanks John.

It did turn into a nice little piece, with nice coloration.

    Thanks night,

Most definitely a nice freebie. Hopefully someday in the near future I can pay it forward.
    :)

Boy Nismo, you have a good memory. No that is not the "thing" millepora. Although they are both green, and I guess milles, they do look very different. The names of theses milleporas up for grabs, they look so different from each other that there must be a difference or distinction in what type.

The polyps tips have this speckling appearance of a shinny coloration, why or what purpose it serves I have no idea.

I recently read that zoanthids grow faster when placed next or each other secondary to competition for space, interesting so some more zoanthids will be my next purchase.

Nice pictures as usual and your sps always seem to have excellent PE. Now that you say that I did notice my fire and ice morphs have grown quite a bit since I placed 2 smaller frags next to them. Probably 3 or 4 polyps in 2 weeks, which is good for my tank.

Ok you can see the gold speckles better in this image of the mushroom. The other images are my RP frags and digitata ( some strange polyps that one has).
