    Thanks John. :)

I need to observe the 6 inch spacing rule for acropora placement. What was I thinking.

    Hey Zoanthids21,

You can find Lunar Eclipse on Coralpedia.com and if you google them you will get some pricing. I do not believe they are considered high end but they go for medium level prices IMO.

    Thanks for taking a look.:)

That's a nice picture, Corailline. What type of Millie is that on the upper left? I'm looking for something that color range. How does it compare ti the color of a Red Planet irl? Great pictures!

Upper left is my Red Planet, only the new growth is showing, it has a very red base and deep green base. Lower left is what the call a Christmas Millepora. Can not go wrong with the RP IME. Thanks for the compliment. :)

Wow, that RP has some really nice color to it. 8) A local guy is selling some frags, I'll have to see if he has any left.

    No new images!!!

    Some changes though.

    1. In the past I have had success removing GSP by peeling it off. Well I attempt to do that today and I learned it release a lot of slime. I was concerned this slime or whatever it was could not be good for my sps, so the task of removing the GSP will have to take place when the tank is emptied of water and rockwork. I can then removing it all rinse the tank out and refill it with the rock, corals and sand. I just see no other way of doing it.

Lesson learned, do not put GSP on back wall. In my nano it will be a fairly decent size project, in a large tank a nightmare.

    2. Lesson learned about laziness and removing aiptasia, majano, hydroids. I seriously nuked a large amount of my rockwork ( how I will save for later). I treated the most infested pieces and knocked their numbers down to treatable numbers and easily accessible. Removed any bubble algae I had as well.

I have reduced feeding to the tank drastically lately in hope of slowing the spread but once they start reproducing they just keeping doing so. Ten quickly turns in 100.

Well I am happy with the results, but another huge undertaking.

    3. Getting rid of some my smaller Acropora. I am going it limit to

    Cali tort
    Neon green tort
    Red planet
    Millepora
    Stylophora
    Red and purple montipora
    Hyacanthius.

    Getting rid of

    Pocillopora
    Hydnophora
    Acropora Formosa
    One piece of Red Digitata.

Moved all rock work away from sides significantly. New scape higher and small pieces of rubble, plugs, old shells removed.

So that is my novel, thank you for listening. :)

Actually everything is some what miffed and a lot of sliming going on. But we have PE again. I was a little worried there, but it had to be done. Probably knocked out a decent size of my bacterial filter, so I will not be feeding for a few days and do small water change tomorrow.

To kill the pest I mixed up a tubberware container with saltwater and a VERYconcentrated mixture of kalk and soaked the rock and then scrubbed and rinsed throughly. Aerobic bacteria took a huge hit, hopefully anaerobic had a fighting chance. It was only 1/3 of the rock work so I should be ok.

That is what I get for being lazy.

Oh and my bristle worm is about an inch wide and 3 feet long, largest bristle worm I have ever seen by far. Found many large brittle stars around 2-3 inches.
