    Thank you!

Me too, I would have missed her nasty temperament. I have no intention of adding any new fish for a long time so it would have been the male and the goby. It was hard to watch her so sick and him so devoted, I am glad I did not intervene and waited. I really believe any extra stress would have pushed her over the edge.

Nice Tank!! Your pictures are very good -- what camera if you don't mind me asking?

Oh one more thing did you use live rock to start tank or just base rock and patience?

Duncans look awesome! Glad your female clown made it, I know there are times when we curse some of the animals in ours tanks but always sucks if they parish...

If you figure that out let me know. I tried to scrape it off the back wall and peel it away. It turned into a mushy slimy mess, so I stopped. Weather true or not I have considered it's release of whatever chemicals played a part in stressing my corals.

    Thank you very much.

The camera is just a Cannon powershot, but the tank is tiny so I can get decent macro shots.

I used live rock for this tank, but in the future I will use mostly dry base rock.

    Thanks nightster.

Uhg, sorry to hear about your troubles Cheryl. You know, whenever I work on my tank, my female OC just sits there the entire time nipping at my hand. You'd think it would get annoying, but my old one did the same and after loosing her, I'm glad to be nipped at again  Happy to hear yours doing well now. Also look forward to seeing what the forest fire brings, they always bounce back a little better each time :)

Glad to hear the clown pulled through Cheryl.

I think a lot of us have that feeling of "why do I bother",from time to time. I know I've been so frustrated that I just wanted to throw in the towel and I haven't been into reefing even a year yet!! The feelings of calm, tranquility and happiness felt during times I find myself just kicking back and getting lost in the tank, remind me that it's worth it :).

    Thank you.

You know I try not to flinch when she bites me. But she goes for the upper arm every time and she has left bit marks. She actually will attempt to jump out of the water to bite me. I have had her for over 3 years so I am really attached to her, she has my respect.

Your right, I am back to enjoying it. It does not matter how long a person has been in the hobby, everyone makes errors or has the occasional bad outcome.

I think, well what would I do if I crashed the tank, would I go back to soft corals, anemones, breeding clowns. My dream tank or goal has always been a tank with healthy colorful acropora and other sps, big colonies.
    :)

Neon Green Tort, Red Planet, and the Christimas Milleopora.

Tank is almost back to normal. Have a lot of encrusting frags of the RP and others. The temperature here in S. Arizona is 94 F, so chiller is really running over time. :-/
