'Twas indeed 100F on Friday. Second earliest date on the books to hit triple digits, yay! At least it's not 90F at 8AM yet...

And technically, that's a Bullsnake. They're a subspecies of the gopher snake (which we don't actually have here). Biggest one I've ever seen (and handled for that matter) in AZ was near 6'. They can have a nasty disposition and often get mis-ID'd as a rattlesnake.

Thanks on the correct ID of the snake evolved.:) It is a more aggressive snake than your average gopher, it bites and asked questions later. I have seen that particular snake hanging in the area on a couple occasions. He slithers down the pack rat holes and they all come running out.

In SW news, still have all my rp frags. Good encrusting. The frag up front that was glued horizontally encrusted much quicker than the vertically placed frag in directly in back of it. The vertical frag is at least a month older.

Christmas millepora is going to town. A faster grower than RP.

Finally getting a good handle on the pest anemones. One more rotation of the LR and I should be good. The very strange thing is that the mushroom split 4 times, I will get a picture later. Something to be said for shocking your tank and seeing a growth spurt afterwards.
