This is a better picture of the pair. With three fish in the tank it seems like a perfect balance, for now anyway. There is a YWG and his tiger pistol, but the YWG has been gray with blue spots for 2 years now, and lives in a borrow with one huge bristle worm and the pistol.

Luckly the lid on the JBJ has legs and you can adjust the hood.

1st time I changed bulbs, I cut photoperiod back, but still some bleaching.

2nd time, I tried adjusting the height of the hod, but still some bleaching.

So this time I am going to attack both ways.

I heard some people use screen (same as screen doors) over the tank to help with the light. I used when I went with LED lights and luckily had no bleaching. Might be worth a try. Love the tank :)

    Thanks Kelley.

Yes I am probably gonna go that route as well. I am just being lazy I guess.

Porterville right next to Balch Home State Park, beautiful country. :)

That is very kind of grinder, thank you.

New steel blue acro, needs some lighting adjustments, but this pieces has a lot of potential.

Thank you 2in10. I wish the teal blue coloration of the new acropora came across better in the pictures.

I think I am done for awhile now.

Cool stuff, corailline. I really like the new acro!

If you want to get the colors to come across better, I would try Picasa. It's free, and has some "easy editing" features that I've used to help make the colors in my pics closer to reality.
