tank looks amazing. the lunar eclipse is beautiful. And of course the red planet You are going to have to start selling frags of that!

We have the Sony DSL camera and I dont really know how to use it. I am wanting to take classes to learn it but my mom has me signed up for all sort of other classes with her and now dont have time (bead classes and cake decorating) (dont bake and dont wear jewlry that much)! But you really should consider one, especially with your ability to take wildlife pictures! Sell some frags and there you go!

That is an excellent idea schackmel, and thanks for the compliment.

And yeah I have to be more aggressive about selling my frags. I have way too many. I would really suck as a salesman.

Have fun with those classes. My mom just did a flower arranging class, she says the it's insane what they charge for flower arrangement now a days. They do have a local camera club here, I should probably take a look, maybe someone is upgrading and I can get a decent deal on better camera.

Hey Corailline, your camera does have a low ISO setting in program mode. The user's manual shows how to set it. Just put the camera in the lowest ISO setting, macro mode, flash off, and hold the camera still against the front of the tank.

those classes are breaking into my fish budget.........We had our first cake decorating class yesterday and I have already spent over $100 on supplies, and I dont think that is it. Then the bead classes are like 50/month and I never finish the bracelets! It is for my mom though, we need to spend more time together!

    I hear ya.

We are truly addicted when we are always calculating how we could used the money on some cool SW item.

But I am sure your mom, is relishing spending every minute with you.

You are a better daughter than me though, cake decorating not so much. Beading yes you can make some pretty stuff, but how often do we decorate cakes, unless you have smaller children. Even though I got to say they have some very cool forms now a days. I think I have made a Snoopy and an Easter bunny in the past.

So I did exactly as directed. I believe there is a noticeable improvement in clarity, but prehaps a reduction in color. Honestly I do not know enough about cameras to have a clue. I like the results though barbinaj. Thanks.

Alrighty, there you go. Next step is to go to the exposure control (exp) and set that two ticks to the left. The number one is a full step, divided into three steps. Two thirds of a step is a good place to start. The last pictures that you took were overexposed. If they still look a little washed out at 2/3 of a step, go to one full step. You'll see a big difference in your photos when you get the on camera settings the way you like them. Good job!
