Definitely try it with the tripod if you have one I would like to see the difference. Our tanks a very close in size, what I am doing should work for you as well.

Comparison shoots. Same frag prior to new adjustments, back in March. Today with the iso reduced, no macro setting, no flash and reduced exposure.

Still do not have the settings worked out on the cacti flowers and others, it's a day light and focus issue I suppose.

Mannn your sps look awesome Corailline. The polyps have some great extension, they look so happy! Can we get a FTS..? Maybe? :)

Darn it now that I look it, I am not sure which is better. Well just keep trying I guess. The focus on the second image in not as clear. But as soon as you turn on the Marco option you loose the low ISO option, the camera will not let you do it both ways.

Conclusion, get a better camera I guess.

Really nice tank. I bought 2 sps early on in my aquarium career and swore I would not go back, but just recently I've spent a bit of money upgrading my system so I can get sps. I like my softies but something is drawing to sps.

Ahh I love your rockwork, and pretty much everything else about your tank for that matter lol. All the sps looks so awesome. You definitely have my favorite biocube on 3reef, for sure. I'm sure you've said this before, but are there any other inhabitants other than the clowns?

LOL I said the same thing about sps for a number of years.

    Thanks again aw1447, :)

Now just the clowns and a old YWG, one asteria snail, one turbo, one certh. That is it. Lost my pistol, hermits and crabs when I treated for the dreaded Red Bugs in December. Unfortunate but at the same time it's ok. No more sand storms or hermits knocking stuff over. Got a ton of Stomattella snails as well.

LOL, I know it's not funny, but you have to give them credit. Such attitude for a smaller fish. I can not even go in my tank without removing the female first. She swims into the container everytime without fail, to attack the fingers holding it.

    Thanks JJL.:)
