    Hey you...:)

Mine tries to kill my corals, his victims include blasto and monti. It did not kill the zoanthids but gave it a good try.

The coral is isolated in the corner, about 5 inches from any corals, because that is how far it can reach.

I wish I could put it someplace else but I learned my lesson the hard way. :)

    Jerry,

Don't forget that the vast majority of corals do not eat phyto. The ones that do are primariy non-photosynthetic.

They can benefit indirectly from phyto. I.e. phyto feeds a filter-feeder that spawns and then the coral can (and will) eat that.

Messing with the camera settings, iso is turned down again. Big thanks out to barbianj, again for going out of his way in helping me with my tank photography.

Very beautiful corals and shots. Barbianj has got me looking to improve my photo skills also. I found a blog that had a couple of tips for my camera exclusively that has really helped with the colors and clarity.

Your valida looks very good and much better than mine.

    Thank you John,

Barbinaj went as far as to find the manual for my camera on line and directed me from there. Reefers are the best people.

Your new shots are much clearer and more colorful.

Thanks, I agree on reefers be the best people. The tip was to use the custom setting on the color setting and use contrast and saturation on high. I have the camera on aperture priority and use the lowest setting and let the camera choose the shutter speed. All of the shots have been free hand and the shutter speed has been as low as 1/25. Gotta get that tripod.
