Great pics as usual. I'm assuming you're using a macro lens?

    Thanks Sacul1573,

Actually it's just a Cannon Powershot, I turned the iso way down, still playing with the focus but no manual focus. With the iso turned down you get less blur and the darker backround.

I used to use the contrast and saturation, but I only use the sharpen now.
    :)

    LOL,

thanks for the laugh, it was needed.

Man I feel for you, I would be soooo miserable. High here today was 96.F and like 15% humidity. I got a huge fire burning near by, your state has it's share already.

Only thing to do is a the pool and a couple cool ones.

Send some of that heat my way, we only got to the low 60's today. We might see 80 Monday if we are lucky.

Speaking of heat. After doing routine chiller maintenance it worked very well for about 3 days and then died completely. It's was 3 years old, oh well. Just running the lighting for a shorter period and leaving the lid slightly ajar, runs about 82.

No tank transfer yet, seems like it was not meant to be yet with the back issue and now the chiller issue. In due time I guess.

First 2 images are of the Christmas Millepora? One month of growth. I have noticed that it grows the most during the time when the lighting is off. I date all my images for my purposes and found the growth to be pretty darn good.
The next is the elusive female clown, she just is not herself since loosing the male. I have no plans to replace him.
Lately is a group shot of the RP and Pocillipora frags, they are all growing really fast.

Oh if you do not move your sps around so much you do not get that ugly branching pattern seen on the last image of the Christmas mille. I have not moved it in over a month, it could use more flow but I would rather have a more normal appearance branch wise.

Great shots of your beautiful corals.

I almost feel sorry for the clown with her moping around like that.
