Thank you both for being such good enablers.

Yes I do agree it's time to upgrade, go bigger for a change.

Just got a new job working at a Veterinarian office out in the country. No more working as a nurse with people but now animals. I am extremely happy with this new job choice.

After orientation I will be getting a new tank, once I figure out what my schedule will be like.

    :)

I guess, I'll explain, since you seem on the verge of breaking down and maybe it will help to push further. Women pull the strings. We men are idiots and in the end will break down and give in, if women lay down the law, regardless of what we say. So, lay down the law sister and buy a new tank ;)

Congrats on the new job by the way  I think I'd rather work with animals than people as well, although it's not always easy to tell the difference, in your field especially I imagine

Yes only Vinny can deliver ones like that. Hence the reason I find him endearing. Sorry Vinny had to say it. :)

Thanks John, I am excited. They have the government contract for the care and kennel of all the boarder control dogs. It's about 20 miles from the boarder. Just stunning shepherds, must not come home with a new pet!!!!!!!!

    Thank you sir. :)

Glad you explained, because here I was thinking your suggestion was more like soft music, candle light and sweet nothings.

I have obviously been going about it all the wrong way. I will now proceed to man up. :p

I think the GSP issue is the perfect "reason" to upgrade as well. You'll make so much less of mess if you just move stuff to a new tank... :p

I've gotten the impression the mess is what the BF hates the most.

    Hey evolved,

GSP is one of the main reasons, heating issues another, and things are getting a little crowed. The system is running pretty good, but like most things in this hobby just feel like it's time to mess with things.

With the BF he just has no passion for the hobby, "fish and fish products". It's not something he enjoys, he is color blind so he actually thinks the corals are rocks, no biggy. But I will catch some heat I always do.

I have been exposing him to LED and LED builds and controllers. Now see the technology he could really get into.
