    Hi
    I have Xenia around the tank in large and small clusters. I might be getting a frag of Zoas tomorrow from http://www.ultimatecorals.com/
    No plug intended . Since Zoas are listed as semi agressive, if placed by Xenia(not too close) which is considered peaceful,would they kill each other or will Zoas dominate?

    xenia peaceful my butt. Like GSP is peaceful. Peaceful only means it won't eat your fish. Just my 2 cents

    Not what I was hoping to here. How close is too close? My leather touches the Xenia and no problem, so 1-2-3 inches safe?

    Xenia spreads quickly, and will crowd the zoas and end up choking them out. I would put as much space between as you can. I have heard of people putting aggressive coral next to Xenia and GSP to keep them at bay but you will not get that from zoa or plays.

    I have successfully used frogspawn and hammer coral to keep Xenia in check
