I have a coral banded and would like to get a skunk cleaner. I have a 55. Anyone have any experience with keeping the two together. Thanks

My coral banded seems pretty frisky but he stays in one spot. Maybe if I could get the skunk to live on the other side

My experience lasted about 15 seconds... that's how long it took for the skunk cleaner to dismember and clean out the CBS. I have heard of others with better luck, though.

I can see it now..it'll be the next type of underground gambling.

    "Shrimp Fighting...to the DEATH!"

    For what it's worth, I have a CBS and 2 hermits....no problems.

Hmm. So far my skunks and my CB are leaving each other alone. They all seem to coexist just fine.. When I tried to add a second coral banded.. it was fight to the death immediately! The coral banded seem to like to live alone. The only one of there kind!

Yup, that's exactly what happened. The cleaner had been in the tank for a couple months... I was told they would be fine IF I added the CB last as it was the more aggressive one. As soon as the CB set foot on the sand, the cleaner jumped on his back and legs flew. By the time I got my hand on a net, he'd already ripped his shell open and was eating him.

I have a CBS and a Skunk Cleaner. I've had both of them well over a year. The CBS is very aggressive, even to the point of attacking my 4 inch long Red Velvet Fairy. The skunk stays clear of him but most things in my tank do as well.
