So my friends just got me a true cbs for my birthday and I couldn't say no when they brought it in the front door, see the pics I posted earlier or in my albums. I was curious how aggressive these things get towards fish. I've heard mixed things. This one is pretty big, bigger than my fish right now. What do you guys think?

mine sometimes like to pick on new inhabitants.. but i dont think its killed anything.. also when I had my tang, he would literally sit on the side of him and clean him off.. he is just a fatty when it comes to food and hoards it..

Do any of your fish sleep in rocks/in sand? I'd be a little worried because I've come to find one about halfway through a Royal Gramma. Didn't actually see him kill it, but it's gone after the clown with a vengance. Safer with a skunk IMO. How often do your friends see your tank? You could always say he died or is hiding.

I have a gold headed sleeper goby that sleeps on the bottom. My friends are over all the time doing homework so they see it quite a bit and I don't have an over abundance of rockwork to say it's hidden.

Well, innocent until proven guilty. If he openly shows aggression, then get him out of there. Your friends will understand, just tell 'em straight... I know, sounds hypocritical from the guy suggesting that you lie to 'em two posts ago :)

Yeah, I have definitely been watching him closely given how big he is compared to my fish. Trust me, he will be gone at the first signs of trouble.
