Hello just joined this blog looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say. Ok so I have a fu manchu lionfish in my 50 gallon tank right now and I'm looking into getting a mated pair of coral banded shrimp for the same tank... bad idea or should they be able to reside in the same tank?

Looking forward to hearing back :)

IMO i think you shoudl dave yourself the trouble and not get the coral banded shrimp...esp. a mated pair cause I believe the fu manchu will make a meal of both of 'em

It will be a year next month currently I have him in there with a red knob sea star and a spotted cardinal. They get along well, never seen anyone fight or bite eachother
