Whats your opinion on them? I found a ad on Craigslist for 2 urchins and a coral banded shrimp for 10$. Is That A good deal? Will The Coral banded Shrimp hurt anything in my tank?

i Have a 75g. GSP's, Monti, Kenya Tree, and Frogspawn. Along with 2 Damsels, An Algae Blenny, 1 large star serpent, and 3 babies, and around 200 assorted Snails.;D;D

    Should I buy???

I have one in my tank also. No problems at all. A color and excellent addition to your cleanup crew as long as he's the only shrimp in there.

They are cool but they do knock your corals over. They eat coralline also.
But I have read that when the eat it and poop it out that it actually spreads the coralline more. They are super cleaners IMO. I had 2 in a 90 Gall Aggressive I had a couple of years ago.

If you touch the spines that fall off --your fingers will have a purple line on it for a few minutes. There spines are poisonous -So don't touch them!

I have had them with other shrimp with no problem.
I have read that sometimes it can be a problem if you get a real aggressive one.
