Any reason why you want to rid the bristle worms? Is it because they're ugly?
If you ask me, they're the perfect cuc. We've got some giants ones in our zero edge, lots and lots of them. Lift a rock and they're under it, inside old shells, etc. They only usually only come out during feeding or at night. They don't eat corals, attack fish or cause any issue's. It sounds like you may be trying to replace a safe cuc with an unsafe cuc because of looks.

FWIW, I have a small tank that I treated with flat worm exit. This tank used to be full of the worms too. After the treatment, there was never another bristle worm again.

They're population has exploded! I don't mind them at all when their numbers are in check. I actually believe they are 1 of the best scavengers we could have in our tanks. They have been paramount in keeping my tank algae free.
However since feeding my Mandarin 2-4x daily frozen, the worms have become down right ignorant, lacking total manners-LOL. But I may have found a solution. I've suspended a jar in the tank and now place all his food in there. No more frozen for the entire tank :)

I too used flat worm exit. It had the same effect on the bw's. But they've rebounded.

My BW keep the tank totally clean. I just use tweezers and thin the herd every now and then of the largest ones. otherwise just let them clean your tank. Love my brittle star! but he can get big if you have a small tank. Mine is probably about 12" tip to tip. He is great fun to watch though as he scavanges for food.
