I got this little dude back in like later March early April. Fat and happy. Big fat green turds.

Yesterday it spent the day kind of pointed at an angle down looking at my HOB filter intake (I run carbon there) without moving... about just under midway down in the tank or so.

I went to feed just now and it didn't come out so I checked and it's stuck to that same intake. I put it in the fridge, will cut it up for the coral tonight.

Seemed healthy to me. No idea what did it in here.

So 2 clowns and a blenny is my fish count now. :-/ I got the fish mostly to create more bio-load so this puts me in a quandary... I like having a heavy CuC but don't like replacing fish. I think I might switch to flakes for a while :laughings j/k

    hrm

Sorry to hear about your loss. FWIW, I lost one myself a while back after roughly 4 months. I researched afterwards and found what I believe was my problem-- diet. Pigmy angels are omnivores and require algae, and their meaty offerings should include sponge. (the 'hitch-hiker' type found in live sand or rock will suffice.)

    Cheers

Sorry for your loss Peredhil. Only cut half up and puree the rest. Give the filter feeders some meat too. ;)

Thanks ya'll. I eat fish so I don't see any big deal with it. If this fish was a good size bigger, I'd eat it myself.

Maybe this is why my CB died as well! That was my favorite fish and he didn't eat my corals.
