My coral beauty seems to be "picking" on my Kole Tang and 2 clownfish:cry:. I know my tank is a bit too overstocked, but I just do not think that could be the full answer. I am definately NOT looking to get rid of any fish. ( last resort)
    I have a RSM 130d (about 36 gallons) with a Kole
Tang, 2 clowns, and a coral beauty. Any suggestions? THANKS!

Sorry to tell you this but your Kole tang needs much more tank. A 90 gallon is the min recommend for them. I too had a RSM like yours. Traded up because I could not get the fish i wanted. i have a Coral Beauty in with a Kole tang with no problems. I also have a flame angel as well with no probs. On a side note I do have a 180 now so the extra room helps. Sounds like the fish are a little cramped and fighting for their piece of the "rock" Good luck

I know it is a tad crammed, but then again I only have 3 fish in there. I plan to move the Kole Tang maybe when he gets too big. (he's a little guy) I do not think that the tank is too small for him at the moment though. He is always swimming around, always eating algae, he has great coloration, and he is really thriving. He has been in there for about 5 months and he is doing great! Thanks for the concern though! Any other suggestions?

Both the Kole and the CB are usually peacefull fish. How aggressive is the nipping? Was one of them a recent add or were both added at the same time. My CB is a little protective of his peice of the rock not supper aggressive. I was more concerned of the CB and the flame going after each other. How long has it been going on? Any fin damage? Is it a hard chase or a hey move on kinda of thing?

Were they put in at the same time? The kole has been there 5 months how about the CB. Does the CB also go after the clowns?
