Is it possible? To have a Coral Beauty and Flame Angel in the same tank. Around 55 gallons or so? What's the limit on small tank size for those two to live peacefully with each other?

EDIT: Yes I know I spelled relatively wrong...but the Edit button won't let me change the title. Woohoo.

having both of them in a 55 together most likely won't work. They will be very aggressive towards each other and the weaker one will probably die. You really need a big tank, such as possible a 120 to have two angels together. This is a rare instance when it would be ok, but 9 times out of 10 they will fight and reek havoc on your tank.

Take it from someone that knows,
Dont do it. Simply pick your favorite and go from there. If I could do it over, I would pick the Flame as the CB is more aggresive.

Maybe in a 220 long or something, but even then , they will eventually find each other.

I had luck with a flame angel and a lemonpeel introduced at the same time. They were in the same tank at the LFS and were doing fine so I decided to give it a shot. They would only mess with each other if one entered too close to the others territory but for the most part they did fine (I must have been lucky with what I have read here).

I did get rid of them a few months later because at first introduction they did not bother with any corals until one day I noticed my brain was not doing well and a few others seemed to be ailing as well. Within a few minutes of observing the tank, BOTh were picking at the brain and xenia so I decided to sell them because I didn't want them killing off all my coral.

I've got a flame and a coral beauty together in a 65g tank - and they get along great. Occasionally, the flame will chase the coral beauty around for a second or two - but that's it.

They've been together for almost 6 months and both are very happy and healthy. Guess I am one of the lucky few...

I had both in a 75g. The CB beat up the first FA. It died. The CB started on the second FA when it was in the acclimation bag. I thought that fish was going to rupture the plastic. All I could think was, "Wow......I made yet another mistake". The second FA died a week later from stress (and getting the $%$# kicked out of it daily). So.....no more Flame Angels for me.

ok now the hard part of deciding which to get...If I happen to see 2 of them in the same tank at the LFS then I might jump on that chance and force them to be buddies. But other than that...I'm screwed right? Which one would nibble less on my corals? Ugh they're both pretty fish...why do the pretty ones always have to get in fights with each other? (more than one meaning in that if you know what I mean)
