    Its hit or miss, depending on the fish. From what I've heard, angels are more likely to pick on clams than on corals, but still, its fish to fish. I always answer these posts by saying go ahead, but have a backup plan.

    I just hope more people vote as a larger sample size will allow a better idea of how often they actually pick at clams.

    Bumping this as I saw my CB nipping my Deresa yesterday for the 1st time. Hopefully just an isolated incident (they have been together for 8 months) but I saw what I saw - anyone have any new feedback on this issue here?

    Try feeding the angel more, might make it less likely to nip. Hopefully it hasn't gotten a taste that it loves. It sounds like it is time to get the backup plan ready. I hope this is an isolated incident also. This is the reason I did not get a CB Angel. Scared me too much.

    Well I've had mine for a few yrs now and so far so good with the corals.and as of now its been ok with my clam that has been in there 8 plus months now...
