I have read a couple of articles, that Coral Beauty's can be a hard to have in a tank, but on the other side the places I have normally read from and ordered from have said that they are a easy fish to have in a tank?

What are your thoughts on it, since I just picked one up, will have a pic of my 2 new additions soon.

So far my coral beauty is looking, acting and eating healthy **knocking on wood**. I guess it depends on your water quality and a stress-free enviroment. This was one fish I was skeptical in buying due to the delicate nature of the fish but so far she's OK.

    Good luck with her.

Very peaceful, graceful fish. Mine loves to pick at the algae in between feedings. The only trouble that fish has given me is ICH. It has always been susceptible to it and had to be QT'd once. When I added a UV light to the system all symptoms disappeared. I have read/heard they like to pick at growing things in your reef however, so use discression there.

Be careful, they are no friends to the reef. If you have acro, kiss it goodbye.

That really depends on the Beauty. I had my last one with acros and it was not a problem at all until I found him stuck to my pump intake. :( But for the 6 months or more I had him he was great. I had one in an old tank too without probs. Some do have issues though, but a lot don't too.

It's the luck of the draw. Mine was a snail killing coral picking nightmare. Started slowily and only got worse. I ended up trading the fish.
