On Saturday I got my red scolymia... really nice.... But today when I got home, it is not opening as large as in the morning... Then I noticed that the coral beauty angelfish I had for half a year is nipping at it... What can I do now? Fish has been with me for half a year so I don't really want to take it out...

Not much, that's the risk with angels. My CB has started to nip at my acans slightly. It's infrequent and only appears to happen when they are at a certain stage of being inflated. Try to feed the CB a bit more, but if it wants that scoly and develops a taste for it, there's not much you can do.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It has been my experience that once they begin to nip corals they do not stop, and one or the other has to go.

    Good Luck

Update: Yesterday I moved the scolymia onto some rock instead of leaving it on the substrate and today I am trying to overfeed my angelfish... Looks good so far scoly is opening up... Maybe the angelfish just got starved.. Thanks for the advices.
