I hope the coral beauty bounces back! As far as food, mine didn't care for flakes at all, but goes nuts over a combination of frozen Rod's Food and Ocean Nutrition Formula 2, which is vitamin fortified. She picks at the rocks all day and also will pick at an algea clip (I have Omega One Super Veggie). I had a thread on here a while back about her. She was looking pretty torn up after getting into it with my female clown. I was pretty worried there for a few days. She finally showed the clown who was boss, healed up, and has looked great ever since. She will even push the clowns back into their corner if she's had it with them!

Good luck. I hope all goes well!

Thank you. She is doing better, getting more curious about the other half of the tank. I will just have to wait and see. I have half the tank without lights for her so she can acclimate and feel more comfortable. I'll turn lights on for a few hours starting this weekend and extend them each day. I don't have corals on that end of the tank at this time so it is working out great.

Thank you for the food info. She is snacking on algae right now. I see her grab a few pieces of flake, but not much else. Hopefully she will get her appetite back soon.

I've heard people say that adding garlic to food helps a lot....like the miracle soak.

garlic boost imune system and they like to eat it so if you have a finikey fish then you can try garlic to get them to eat.

OK...I got the garlic today and I hope I wasn't too naughty, I bought another coral beauty. She has been in the tank for about 2 hours now and has made friends with my other beauty. The first beauty seems much happier now. I don't think the new one was in the tank any longer then 15 minutes and was behind the rock with the other one. Now they are peaking out of the rocks and getting braver,

OK here are pictures of the Coral Beauty the neighbor gave me. She is actually looking better now a week later. She is FINALLY swimming around the tank with her new tank mate. Her fins are healing nicely and you can actually see purple on her. The yellow was almost a white when I first got her.

Any advice is appreciated, I want her to do well.
