Poor thing! I'm glad she's going better. It sounds like you're on the right track!

That looks to be a hybrid of some sort and between what ? Looks Like cross between a coral beauty and a potters or a Golden angel fish maybe ?

Yeah I was thinking along the same lines Tangster, I would be really amazed if it was a true CB that came back the way it was looking in the pic. If it is a coral beauty then wow, good husbandry practice.

It's hard to tell. She is so pale. The purple is starting to darken on her and the white is turning yellow again. She is almost all yellow, Her fins are purple and she has a purple cheek. The CB I bought that hangs out with her looks just like the picture of a coral beauty. So I am at a loss. LOL Perhaps being picked on for over a year just destroyed her pigmentation?

I know today she is all over the tank now. I am going to avoid buying anything bigger then her so she doesn't have to be picked on again. Her fins are healing up more and more every day!! I see her picking on rocks here and there so her appetite is back.

I'll try to have husband get better pics maybe you can ID her better then me.

I just text the guy who gave her to me. He said she was REALLY purple when he got her. He actually had her for about 4 months and got her from someone else. I'll see if he can pick a fish off of that site since he saw her when she was at her best

OK it has been 3 weeks now and the coral beauty is REALLY looking better. I hope you can tell by the pictures!!! I see her coming out and letting the cleaner shrimp take care of her. It is so cute!!! Her purple is getting brighter and you can see it coming in more, I see a little orange near the belly and her mouth. Gosh her yellow is so much brighter today then 3 weeks ago!!She is out and about more picking stuff off the rocks. I see her and the other coral swimming together rubbing up on each other too. I'll attach photos in just a little bit
