Is there any way to make my coral beauty less shy :) It seems to only come out when its feeding time. Otherwise its lingering in a cave. Pretty boring fish thus far.

How long have you had it? Just give it some time, eventually, like tangs, they will be less shy.

i havent seen any aggression from the clown towards anything in the tank. there are three damsels, one yellow-tail blue, one blue, and one unknown (its a tan color). none of them show any aggressions toward the clown or the beauty only to one another.

the damsels were in there for initial cycling. im for sure removing the tan colored one its just a pita to catch.

It's normal, most fish take time to adjust to their new settings. Just chill and enjoy the experience :p

It took over a week for my coral beauty to come out of hiding. She was one of the first fish in the tank so I know there was no aggression. Only other tank mates at the time were a diamond goby and 2 pj cardinals.

Give her some time. She will come out and be a beautiful addition to the tank.

Sometimes caribbean fish are slow to come out in bigger tanks because I have read their natural SG is higher.
