    Mine also very shy initially. Stayed hidden for a good week to 10 days most of time. But has since gained confidence and is chasing about with tangs everywhere.

    Also took a good 2 weeks before she would eat any solid foods...pretty much stuck with algae in tank initially, but guess now there is not enough of it about to keep her happy, and she joins others in feeding periods.
