Just added a Coral Beauty, to my 210 gallon reef. I know they could pick on the corals, but i don't have many.
I'd love to get either a Flame, or Potters Angel, also.

My question is, which would you recommend, and will they fight with the Coral Beauty?
Being my tank is pretty big, with lots of hiding spots, i'm thinking it would be ok, but i want to make sure.
    Please help.

There have been success stories with keeping multiple angels together in a tank. However, the overwhelming consensus is that it is a bad idea, even in larger tanks. You do have a big tank which could help, but you never know. I've known people who kept two dwarf angels in a 75 with no major problems, but have also known people who've kept them in a 180 with the end result being 1 died from abuse. In my opinion, the chances are that they will fight, now whether it will be bad enough to kill one or constant is another story. Personally, I wouldn't do it just for the fish's sake.

I do know that you can mix a coral beauty with a bicolor and have success because I am doing it right now and two other friends of mine did the same thing. My tank is a 150 gallon cube theirs is a 55 gallon and a 29 gallon. I am sure that it does help that we put them in at the same time. I have even added a second coral beauty with mine and I almost regretted it. The second was surely dead for a day or two until the beating just stopped. They swim together now like a pair of clowns. I felt bad because I couldn't do anything about it because I have about 250-300 pounds of rock. The shop that I get my stuff from does have flames mixed in with coral beauty's.

That's kinda of a given, you can mix almost any two types of fish have success, but the chances of having success are what is in question. You are right in that if you put them in at the same time there is a better chance it will work out well. This will allow neither of them to establish a territory before the other and thus they can't defend something they don't have. The one problem with this is that they may fight over the same territory.

the size of your tank will help. I have a potters angel and he loves to zip through my live rock so i would say as long as you have plenty of live rock and places to hide you might be okay. personally 1 angel is good enough. but if you are gonna add one , go with the potters far better coloration and IMO is a far better looking fish than a flame.

Never mind mixing the two angels - trying keeping the Potters alive by it self!
Obviously it can be done - but i have read and read and read time and agin that these angels are mucho difficult keep in the home aquaria!

PHEONIX from what you've read what can you tell me about how difficult they are?

for anyone who has kept a pygmy angel should know all come with particular feeding requirement. any fish can be difficult if you dont know what to feed.

just food for thought before you dicourage anyone from choosing specimen
