    Quick question

My buddy is selling me his coral beauty and Six line wrasse for $10. I'm worried about the coral beauty, will she be ok in my 40 gal reef tank or no. I've never owned on before. Thanks guys/gals

I would say no to the coral beauty. As a previous owner of one I really do not think it is a great idea. I ended up having to give mine back to the LFS. They are truely beautiful fish. Mine did not turn on my coral, but it turned on my other fish. It decided to become aggresive and my only choice was to remove him. It was sad but it just had to be done. If you do not have problems with it picking at coral you will have problems with aggresion. Yes to the six-line though!
    Good Luck

I have a coral beauty and it is very friendly to the tank mates and corals. I guess everyfish Is different.

Every fish is different, but you never know what personality you are going to get. I would play it safe and not get the CB for the sake of your coral. Wish I had decided this, but it was the aggresion that was my problem because he did not pick at my coral :)

Hmm, my Coral Beauty was the peacekeeper of the tank (in a 20g no less). Whenever the other two fish got aggressive towards one another, the CB would place itself between them until they swam away. No fights were allowed. So, having a CB that's aggressive seems like the exception, not the rule.

You could be right, but remember it could always decide to turn on your coral

If that was the rule then tanks would be fishless. :(

Size of the tank is a huge factor as well why I was also very liberal with feeding my CB.
