Coral beauty

Sure it's been asked, throwing a coral beauty into mixed reef of lps and softies...tank mates are clown, niger trigger, sailfin, magnificient foxface, flamehawk, six line , and it's a 120g...do it??

 

Never had good luck with those myself. Beautiful fish but seem to stress easy.

Coral beauty angels were one of the hardiest fish I've ever owned. Never had an issue with corals and both survived 4 moves over the years. Different tanks ofcourse but really a hardy fish in my book.

 

Mine's doing well, and never even nips at a coral.
I'd worry about that niger outgrowing that 120.
The CB- a dwarf Angel, will always stay pretty small.

 

I have had one for 6 years now. Extremely hardy fish. Keep it well feed or may nip at corals and clams.

 

ive had mine for about a year now. hes been a great add to my tank.
keep them well fed and it should stay away from corals. mine even gets in there a fights against 3 tangs to chow down on the nori when it goes in the tank, tough little guy.
there always is a chance of one going rogue though, just keep a eye out.

 

interesting.. maybe I had just got a bad 1.. only lasted 6 months and went through ich spells 2 times and no other fish in tank had issues. was in quarantine half the time I had it probably.

Anyhow still think they are beautiful.

If you get 1 check em out closely because I have seen many sick 1's over the years in LFS.
