Coral bioload?

    Just wanted to confirm or deny what my LFS said, that corals don't add a bioload so adding 2-4 at a time would not affect ammonia/nitrite params? Thanks

    Basically true. I've added 6 different corals at once before.

    You do need to acclimate most of them though.

    And make sure your Ca, Alk, and Mg are on target.

    And don't forget the potential for die-off on any rocks the corals are attached to. Probably not a huge deal unless you have a nano.

    I've added 5 corals at a time with no problems what so ever. Even the rocks they are attached to shouldn't affect anything, unless you have a very small tank as barbarossa said.
