    not saying its true, never owned a kenya tree.... just read it in a coral book... said that they grow quickly but do not live long

    at the rate this hobby is going,a book only a couple yrs old can be outdated.10 yrs ago it was impossible to keep acro.some books are still teaching people to use under gravel filters for saltwater tanks.

    like you say > 10 years ago acro's were said to be impossible to keep for any length of time.
    20 years ago , it was totally a rich man's game only ( only to be addmired buy the wealthy for a few days before it croaked ).
    *kinda like an ice sculpture at a weeding back then , was only gonna be there for a certain amount of time.

    Now in the last 5 or so years there's been so many accomplishments by reefers whom have invented equipment and additives etc.
    it's an exciting time to be doing this really (imo).
    cause we can be successfull and and make our selves a little slice of heaven in our living room's
