Have any of you seen a nem eat a coral? Yesterday a friend dropped off some cool stuff for one of my nanos and we noticed this nem eating a mushroom. wtf? This guy had a serious grip on it too. I'm not sure what kind it is, its a rusty color with smooth tentacles. I moved everything away from his corner and I'll feed him tonight.
My friend has worked at lfs for a while now and hes never seen this kind of thing before, have any of you?

Depending on the health and type of anemone, anything that sticks to its tentacles it will try to eat. The nem might of spit it back out once it realised it was a mushroom.

+1, they'll try and eat anything. Keeping coral with anemones is risky, even if it doesn't try and eat the coral it can sting and kill it, or at least damage it.
