    Everyone feeds their reef different foods... One thing I would watch out for, like Otty said, is the amount and how often. I feed very little amounts once or twice daily. I also noticed that when I feed, and I turn off the skimmer, some corals, mainly my LPS, open up and stay open much longer.

    very true, its the amount at feeding time not the amount of feedings.
    my tank is fed daily, but in small quantities. we will never be able to match the natural coral reefs nutrient level, but with good husbandry, system set up we can come close, maybe.
