it can be the case in both ways... when my tanks were mainly lps everything grew fast, but hten when i went to sps, all my lps stopped growing no matter how much i feed. i guess because of no nitrates? idk for sure tho

Well, I haven't fed it for the past 2 months either, which makes for a total of about 4 months of feeding what was left over from the sun coral. It was ~6" across, now it's about 8", with 2 branches out from each side, where it was a relatively straight line before.

It probably is harder to feed a given quantity of mysis than squid in most cases - except for when you're feeding a pearl bubble, at which point you just spray the baster in the general direction of "that giant mass of tissue over there" lol.

I'm definitely going to give squid a try, though. I don't know about the efficiency which they get nutrients from a given volume of squid being any greater, but the ease of feeding is good enough for me to at least try.

I would pick up some coralrx..... great for dipping your corals...

food.... I dont know of any good dry food for your corals. Either live or frozen has been the best way to go for me.
